Raid scouting
myself
There's one thing I never compromise on: not a single one of our 7 raids has been drawn on a map from behind a desk. Each one, I've scouted myself, on the ground, before taking you there. To me, that's the foundation of a real raid, and it's what makes the difference.
I've known Morocco for close to 25 years. This country, its pistes and its people, I've learned them over the years, and that changes everything when it comes to laying out a route. I know where the sand gets tricky, where a track fades after the rains, where to find fuel at the right moment, and most of all where the most beautiful passages hide, the ones you won't find on any map.
Scouting a raid means going back out there, often by 4x4 and motorcycle, and riding every stage in advance. I check the state of the pistes, the real difficulty of each section, the water and fuel points, the hotels where we'll sleep, and safety from end to end. Nothing is left to chance, because it's that invisible work that lets you, once you're on site, think about nothing but riding and enjoying yourself.
It's also what lets me adapt each route to the conditions of the moment, and offer you itineraries that have meaning, rhythm and beauty. When you follow the track, you're following a path I've already ridden, tested and chosen for you.
At heart, that's the CDM Motorsport spirit: raids designed by someone who actually rides, not off-the-shelf circuits bought from a catalog.
